Quotable Quote

Do not be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better. What if they are a little course, and you may get your coat soiled or torn? What if you do fail, and get fairly rolled in the dirt once or twice. Up again, you shall never be so afraid of a tumble. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

  1. Hi Laura...do you mean somewhere between 'fools rush in where angels fear to tread' and 'damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead'?

  2. Yeah...something like that Tom. ;-)

More like what I used to tell the little kids when I was a teenager teaching swimming lessons. Just jump in the pool, it's ok, you won't get hurt, it's fun...

all that bit. Lately, I've been thinking I've reverted to being one of those little kids. Stuff looks fun, but I'm just standing on the edge looking down, too intimidated to give it a go. When did that happen??
